Champs & Chumps 2008-09

BPR are delighted to invite Club Members to take part in our annual predictions competition, Champs and Chumps.

All you have to do is pick the top and bottom team in each of the leagues indicated on the attached form, plus the winners and runners-up in the F.A. Cup. Each correct League prediction will earn 3 points, and any team finishing within one place of your prediction will be awarded 1 point. Correctly naming the F.A. Cup winners will reap you 5 points and the runners-up, 3 points

For an entry fee of just £1, the winner will pocket £50, with second place being worth £25 and third place, £10.

Once you have made your selections and filled in the rest of the details, return the form to your respective BPR team manager. Results will be announced at the end of the season.

Criminal Record Bureau Clearances

From September 2008, all Club volunteers, who have direct access to the players within the Club or their details, will by Law, have to be CRB checked via the Football Association.The Club Welfare Officer, Helen Clark, has embarked on a major exercise over the past several months in getting all existing Managers, Coaches and Team Helpers on a Club Register, and is going through the process and completing CRB checks where they are required. These are valid for a maximum of three years and then have to be renewed.
